Key Realty Company, LLC was founded in 1954 by S. E. Felkel. Mr. Felkel developed numerous subdivisions throughout the Lowcountry. He went on to develop commercial and rental properties in the Charleston area. Mr. Felkel was the last private owner of the Angel Oak Tree and the Morris Island Lighthouse.
Deborah E. Hunt worked for the “family business” throughout high school and went on to obtain her real estate license in 1984. While maintaining her real estate license, Deborah also worked for the Episcopal Diocese of South Carolina for ten years and then spent thirteen years homeschooling her children. Deborah took over as Broker-in-Charge of Key Realty Company in 2019.
